Corporate real estate professionals have strategic responsibility for billions of square feet of property globally from acquisition through development and disposition. They are charged with anticipating and responding to their corporations' space needs as a result of business growth, expansion or contraction. By 2050, commercial building floor space is expected to reach 124.7 billion square feet a 34% increase from 2019. And yet, the profession is about so much more than real estate.
