How did you discover architecture? AIA’s #FutureFocused Presents Ashley E. Hartshorn

Ashley Hartshorn, AIA, a licensed architect in New Mexico, received both her Master of Architecture (2012) and Bachelor of Science in Architecture (2011) from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge from her varied architectural and construction experience since 2007 in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida. Her work history includes the development of both new and renovation projects, historic preservation and rehabilitation, interiors and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) design and implementation, and construction administration. Ashley has a strong commitment to project organization and design and a passion for integrating her knowledge with the unique requirements of the Southwest landscape.

Ashley is also active in the architectural community. She currently represents the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New Mexico on the AIA National Strategic Council, after serving at the local (Santa Fe), state (New Mexico), and regional (Western Mountain) components. Ashley is also the Co-Founder of Canstruction Santa Fe.
