Discover Engineering Scholarship Opportunities
The ACEC Research Institute has awarded 2020 ACEC Scholarships to nine engineering students. The winning students were selected by the ACEC College of Fellows Scholarship Committee.
- Mitchael Sieh, who is working toward a master’s degree in architectural engineering at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, was awarded the $10,000 ACEC Scholar of the Year.
- Alisha Stidam was awarded the $10,000 Jim Kleinfelder ACEC Scholarship. She is working on a master’s degree in civil engineering at Lawrence Technological University.
- Jennifer M. Mack, who is studying for a master’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, received the $5,000 ACEC Life Health Trust (LHT) Scholarship.
- Matthew Schomacker, who received the $5,000 Lennox Nishimura Scholarship, is working toward a bachelor's/master’s degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
- Ashlee Jeann Dikoff received the $5,000 a/e ProNet Engineering Scholarship. She is working on her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
- Teresa Magana received the $5,000 Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN) Scholarship and is studying for a master's degree in geotechnical engineering at California State University, Sacramento.
- Katelyn Gendron, who received the $5,000 Small Firm Coalition Scholarship, is working on a bachelor’s/master's degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University.
- David Scot Carpenter was awarded the $3,000 College of Fellows Scholarship. He is working on a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Auburn University.
- The Coalition of American Structural Engineers (CASE) awarded a $2,500 scholarship to Amanda G. Kalab, who is working toward a master’s degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis from Washington State University.
